As seen on TV (Ephesians 2:8)

I present to you Christianity 101. One of the problems people may have with this verse (and Christianity in general) is it kinda sounds like an infomercial.

Are you out of shape but are too lazy to exercise? Would you like to make $1000 a week from your own home? Don't you wish you could make a delicious, healthy dinner in less than 2 minutes? Did you know you were going to burn in hell for all eternity? With one single dose of GRACE®, you'll be magically transform into a fit, rich, super chef on your way to an afterlife of leisure and luxury. (Results not typical. Side effects may include Irritable Bowel Syndrome, hypertrichosis, or corpse reanimation.)

It's true that God's grace is free, and it's as easy to get as saying a simple prayer, but no truthful person will tell you it's a quick fix. Christianity is more like a gym membership with a personal trainer. Now you have access to the facility, but you have to show up and workout to get the real benefits. The more time and effort you put into it, the more you get out of it.
