Be a tea bag! (Matthew 5:13-16)

I already mentioned this comparison from a sermon a while back, but I thought I would bring it up again because it is still a reminder my wife and I use. As such I'd recommend checking out the sermon here. It's a quick one and chock full of goodness like the following nuggets:

  • Keep the flavor.
  • Preserve the standard.
  • Shine your light on the path.
  • You have the choice.
So if you ever hear my wife calling me a tea bag don't laugh or gasp because you'll know it's in regard to this sermon.

If you take all the tea in china to use as a literal comparison to the figurative expression:

for the waste of it all...

but...

for the herculean effort.
